-À̿ܿ¡ ¼þ»ê½º´ÔÀÇ °¡¸£Ä§ Zen and World Peace(¼±°ú ¼¼°èÆòÈ­)¸¦ ÇÔ²² Àоú´Ù. ±× °¡¿îµ¥ ÀϺκÐÀ» °£·«È÷ ¼Ò°³ÇÑ´Ù.

One day, after the Dharma Speech, he went to the Zen Master and said,

"Master, I'm tired of being so stupid. Isn't there some way I can understand?"

The Master said, "You must ask me a good question."

Sok Du scratched his head and thought for a few minutes.

Then he said, "Okay. You are always talking about Buddha. What is Buddha?"



¾î´À³¯, ¹ý¹®ÀÌ ³¡³­ ÈÄ ±×(¼®µÎ)´Â ¼±»ç¿¡°Ô°¡¼­ ¸»Çß´Ù.

"¼±»ç´Ô, Àú´Â ³Ê¹« ¾î¸®¼®¾î¼­ ÇǰïÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Á¦°¡ ÀÌÇØÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â ¹æ¹ýÀÌ ¾øÀ»±î¿ä?"

¼±»ç´Â ¸»Çß´Ù. "´ç½Å Á¤¸» ÁÁÀº Áú¹®À» Çß½À´Ï´Ù.

¼®µÎ´Â ¸Ó¸®¸¦ ±ÜÀ¸¸ç, ¸îºÐ°£ »ý°¢À» Çß´Ù.

±×¸®°í ¸»Çß´Ù. ÁÁ¾Æ¿ä. "´ç½ÅÀº Ç×»ó ºÎó´Ô¿¡ ´ëÇØ À̾߱â ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. ¹«¾ùÀÌ ºÎóÀΰ¡¿ä?"
